On Automotive Interior Design

Abstract

Designing aesthetics are very important principles which always guide designers to conduct creative design. Since automobiles have become an indispensable part in people’s lives, the demands of people for automobiles have shifted from focusing on functional aspects as the necessary transport means to on spiritual aspects as the embodiment of social status, personality and art tastes, etc. Therefore, exploring aesthetic laws as well as designing principles of auto interior designing has become a vital research for the all auto designers. This document explains aesthetic principles and demonstrates how these principles can be used in auto interior design from the aspects of form, color and material texture.
