Abstract

The novel coronavirus pneumonia outbreak in early 2020 has raised a great effect on all walks of life, including the area of education. The Ministry of Education launched an initiative entitled "ensuring learning undisrupted when classes are disrupted", which exposed many questions concerning teachers’ online teaching. It’s not enough for traditional teaching experience to guide online teaching, and the online teaching model has exposed the shortages of primary teachers' core literacy. As a primary school teacher, we should actively adapt to changes and meet new requirements to complement our own shortcomings. Combined theory and practical experience, by using literature research and observation, this study will explore the shortages of primary teachers' core literacy exposed during the online teaching and raise the improvement strategy. This study aims to promote frontline teachers to self-examine and to perfect our own shortcomings, which will have a certain reference value to the online teaching.
