Residual Flux Measurement of Inrush Current of Three Phase Transformer Based on MATLAB

Abstract


This paper used the Matlab software to simulation and analysis the transient process of transformer inrush current produced by transformer no-load switching. Based on analysis of mechanism of inrush current and core electromagnetism, a simple and effective method is put forward to measure of transformer core flux. Finally, the simplicity and effectiveness of the proposed method are verified by simulation results.
