Abstract

For the problems of truss overhead crossing design of oil and gas transmission pipeline, based on original truss design proposal of Zhijing River and practical need of the project, using FEM analysis program, ANSYS, author analyzed effects of possible loads such as earthquake, temperature change, wind-force, weight of truss and pipe, pressure test and cross-sectional type and size of the truss on structural safety, economy and make. The optimization analysis is made. It is shown by analysis that the effects of earthquake on structure strength are larger. The load of test pressure is one of the most dangerous work load. Good optimization design effect is obtained by increasing properly height of truss cross-section. Synthesizing safety, economy and make of structure, equal trapeze section and inverse-triangle section truss are more ideal.
