Numerical Modeling and Simulation of Multi-elastic Body Contact of Vane Seal
Abstract
T he vane seal and the end seal contact pair of t he hydraulic rotary vane actuators is studied as object of this paper . Based on the theory of elasticity and contact mechanics, the mathematical model of contact pressure of end seal and vane seal is calculated. The actual model size of t he hydraulic rotary vane actuators is brought into the mathematical model, and the contact pressure distribution of the end seal and the vane seal is obtained by Matlab. The influence of the vane seal and the end seal contact pressure on the seal performance of t he hydraulic rotary vane actuators was analyzed by the above known vane seal and end seal performance curve, w hich provides a theoretical basis for the seal of the hydraulic rotary vane actuators .
