Experimental Research on Thermophysical of Blast Furnace Hearth Ramming Material
Abstract
The correlation experiments between the thermal conductivity and linear expansion coefficient of ramming material and temperature variation were carried out under normal pressure. The difference correlations between the thermal conductivity and linear expansion coefficient of asphalt and resin combined with ramming material and the temperature variation are obtained by comparing and analyzing the experiment results, and the correlation formulas are given. Finding out the differences between them and discussing the correlation between thermophysical properties and heat transfer of BF lining in theory, can provide a theoretical basis for the BF longevity design.
