Scanning Probe Microscopy of Organisms in Activated Sludge
Abstract
The study of the microflora of activated sludge is carried out by scanning probe microscopy, which is an expressive, informative and highly sensitive method for descriptive microbiology, thanks to which it is possible to compile atlases of three-dimensional images. The method makes it possible to obtain not only more complete information about the investigated object, but also ensures the detection of physiological processes of functioning of complex biocenoses of active sludge.
