Realizing of Software Copyright Protection Using Dynamic Ciphertext

Abstract


In this paper, we design a software copyright protection system based on dynamic ciphertext. The software collects the fingerprint information of user computer and additional information of software as the characteristic information, and uses the information to generate MD5 code using the MD5 algorithm, and then to generate ciphertext using DES algorithm. When the software is running, first read the ciphertext stored in the file system of the application and decrypt the ciphertext, and then compare the fingerprint information reading from user computers with the information reading form the ciphertext to validate the software copyright, to achieve the purpose of software copyright protection.
