Discriminative Coefficient Collaborative Representation for Image Recognition

Abstract

As classical technique, dictionary learning has been widely used for image classification. But the time consumption and the powerful for image classification are still problems in dictionary learning process. In this paper we optimized an advanced dictionary learning method with employing collaborative method into the process. Then, the discriminative information of the representation coefficients is obtained. We embedded the discriminative information to the CRC algorithm to do image recognition. The proposed method has been proven its superiority by some exhaustive experiments at AR and Caltech 101 databases.
