Key Test Conditions for Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) Testing of Non-metallic Parts in Vehicles
Abstract
VOCs in Automobile will pose a threat to the health of passengers. Nowadays, more and more people are focusing on the VOCs. Different OEMs and parts units use different VOCs test methods according to their actual situation. Some of the test methods may exist with low performance and low reliability. In this paper, the influence of test temperature and time on the test results are studied, and a reasonable test draft of VOCs in nonmetallic structures is put forward, which will provide technical support and basis for OEMs select suitable VOCs detection methods.
