Research Progress in Lipopeptide Biosurfactants
Abstract
Biosurfactants are the hydrophilic and oleophilic metabolites produced by microorganisms under certain conditions. Lipopeptide biosurfactants are one kind of biosurfactants, which has gone through the most extensive research, and have a lot in common with chemosynthesis-based surface active agents in terms of properties and also many properties superior to those. This article gives an overview of the kind, structure, properties, application and latest development of biosurfactants, with their development prospects forecast.
