Pumping Simulated Analysis on Crushed Sand Concrete
Abstract
According to mixture model in Fluent Software, concrete can be considered as mixture of mortar and coarse aggregate. By pump simulated analysis, pump resistance is directly proportional with plastic viscosity of crushed sand concrete. Pressure of pump pipe wall will increase by coarse aggregate increasing. When content of aggregate is lower than 50%, pressure of pump pipe wall is little. When content of aggregate is higher than 50%, pressure of pump pipe wall will increase exponentially and concrete pumping will be difficult.
