The Implementation of Experiential Learning in Postsecondary Career Development Education

Abstract


This research combines Experiential Learning Theory and Postsecondary Career Education and builds the experiential teaching methodology for the purpose to discuss college teaching objectives, contents, methodology, procedures and education system. The experiential career development is a critical theme of comprehensive student development education, which aims to guide students in finding the meaning and value of own career by encouraging students learning in various practices in an open and creative environment. In such way, the career education would help students solve practical problems and enhancing personalities. College students will be able to learn from lectures and experiences, start career realization initially, design career plans rationally and confront all the associated career stress and environment.
