Research on the Operating Mode of Volunteer Service in Colleges and Universities

Abstract

Volunteer service is of great need to build a harmonious campus and a harmonious society, to realize the goal of moral education in colleges and universities, to carry forward the spirit of university and to spread the advanced culture, to promote the comprehensive development of college students, and also to achieve the sustainable development of volunteering. At present, the volunteer service projects in our country have problems in organizational construction, project development and social resource integration. This paper analyzes the existing problems of China’s volunteer service, including imperfect management mechanism, lack of training, unfulfillment of incentive mechanism, lack of project evaluation and supervision mechanism, lack of demand research, lack of demand assessment mechanism, and the lack of attention from government and all sectors of society. Finally, the significance of the research on the mode of volunteer service in colleges and universities is emphasized.
