Discussion on Application of Flipped Classroom in Continuing Education in Chinese Colleges and Universities

Abstract


During the 13th Five-Year Plan in China, continuing education in Chinese colleges and universities is confronting a bottleneck period of transitional development. The reform of the teaching mode has become a key element in the transitional development of school running. In that sense, flipped classroom serves as a new perspective for the reform of teaching in continuing education in Chinese colleges and universities. Based on current situation, this paper discusses the application of flipped classroom in continuing education in Chinese colleges and universities. By using practice-based teaching method and theoretical research, this paper points out noticeable problems in the course of implementation and puts forward some corresponding recommendations, including enriching teaching resources, improving the quality of teachers and perfecting evaluation mechanism.
