The Change of Urban-rural Income Gap in Hefei and Its Influence on Economic Development

Abstract

In order to study whether Hefei economic development will have an impact on urban-rural income gap. Through the comparative analysis, this paper studied the historical change process of urban-rural income gap. Then, using the method of cointegration analysis, this paper analyzed the relationship between economic development and urban-rural income gap in Hefei. Finally, it is found that the economic development of Hefei has narrowed the income gap between urban and rural areas in Hefei.
