The Inspiration of IIT KGH’s International Collaboration to UESTC

Abstract

Although with a not-long history, Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur (IIT KGH), enjoys world fame because of its brilliant graduates. International collaboration since its formative years accounts for the institute’s rapid rise to a substantial extent. Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) is one of the most famous IT universities in China, which shares a lot in common with IIT KGH. Therefore, the paper is devoted to the discussion of the institute’s international practice in the hope of providing inspiration to UESTC’s goal of building itself into a world-class university.
