Study on Inhibition Process Characteristics of Different Nerve Types of College Students
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate the inhibition process ability among different nerve types of college students. A total of 562 college students were tested with 80•8 Nerve Type Test Scale and sorted according to the test scores, then each of the 21 subjects were randomly selected from the 27% and the last 27% subjects.42 participants were required to finish Go/Nogo task, the analysis of variance showed that in RTs,1) there was a significant main effect in the score groups of the nerve types, F(1,40) = 25.40, p < .01, 2 = 0.17, the high score group in the inhibition task got higher scores. 2) The type of inhibition task had a significant main effect, F(2,39) = 20.97, p < .01, 2 = 0.25, with the increase of task difficulty, the response time of the subjects increased gradually. 3) there was not a significant interaction between the score group and the task difficulty, F(2,39) = 1.90,p > .05. In ACC, 1) the high score group in the inhibition task got higher accuracy, F(2,39) = 5.22 , p < .05, 2 = 0.14) The type of inhibition task had a significant main effect, F(2,39) = 79.50, p < .01, 2 = 0.55, with the increase of task difficulty, the accuracy of the subjects decreased gradually. 3) there was not a significant interaction between the score group and the task difficulty, F(2,39) = 0.42 , p > .05.Taken together, those findings suggest that in contrast to the low score of the Nerve Type Test , the high score group has better anti-interference ability.
