The Influence of Color Perception on Electroencephalogram

Abstract


Nowadays, electroencephalogram (EEG) is widely used in medical applications. Besides the examination for brain diseases, EEG is used to observe how the surroundings affect people’s emotion. From the results of this study, red color for the visual evoked potential is the most intense, followed by green, the most obvious reaction is blue. In other words, the red is most likely to make people in a state of tension, blue is to let people feel relaxed and quiet.
