Exploration of the Influence of Government Policies on the Science and Technology Activities in Universities

Abstract

The science & technology policy and education policy are the government policies that affect university science and technology activities most directly and profoundly. This effect is manifested in the role of guiding, management and regulation. The paper analyzes the impact of the turns of science & technology policy on science and technology activities in China, especially focuses on the influence of the policy of promoting integration of science & technology and economy on university science and technology activities in China since reform and opening up, that is, it strengthens the connection between the university science and technology and the economic construction, and influences the discipline structure and the scientific and technological activities in university.
