On the Reform of Engineering Education in Local Colleges Based on Establishing Emerging Engineering Education

Abstract

In order to cultivate the talents adapting to the rapid development of the economy with stronger basic knowledge and engineering practice ability, the training scheme and knowledge structure should be optimized, the platform of engineering practice teaching should be established to enhance the engineering practice ability, teaching methods should be reformed, teaching management system should be improved, manufacture-learning-research cooperation should be intensified during reforming of engineering education in local colleges based on establishing emerging engineering education so as to enhance the service functions of higher education institutions, and form their own characteristics of universities and colleges.
