Challenges of Special Education Teachers of Special Schools in Macau: Discussion from the Angle of Inclusive Education and Social Change
Abstract
With the enactment of Law No. 9/2006 in 2006: the Outline Act of the Non-Higher Education System, propose a clear pattern and development direction, Aims to provide a chance of education for fit physical and mental development of special students, stressed that special education should be take precedence to implemented in an inclusive way within ordinary schools, special education of Macau is now officially moving towards the development stage of inclusive education. At the same time, society of Macau has undergone major changes at this moment. This paper will analyze the impact of these changes on the special education teachers of special schools in Macau from the perspective of inclusive education and social change, and propose suggestions for improvement.
