A Study on the Balanced Scorecard Oriented Strategic Management of Ports Based on New Public Management: Illustrated by the Case of Yunnan
Abstract
This paper analyzes the problems about the development of Yunnan ports, based on the perspective of new public management service. And then, it uses the Balanced Scorecard to analyze the development strategy of the Yunnan ports, from the four dimensions which includes the finance, the customer, the internal process, and learning growth. The paper also offers a Balanced Scorecard Strategic Map to illustrate the path and main tasks of the strategy implementation.
