Reconstruction of the Quality of Education under the Strategy of Open University—A Study on the Transition from “Teaching†to “Learning†of Modern Distant Education
Abstract
To ensure the quality of open education in the transformation from radio & TV university to open university, a quality guarantee system should be built form the aspects of course development, learning support services, teaching management, and specialized teachers. This paper points out that teachers should change from traditional teaching role to the role that let the learners study on their own in modern distant vocational education so as to build a view of quality of education that fits to the school-running operation of Open University of china and the social demands.
