The Relationship Between Original Family, Household and Fertility

Abstract

The fertility of couples may be influenced by the size of their original family and their household. In this article I used the ordinal logistic regression method to analyze data from demographic sampling survey and unveiled that the number of siblings is positively correlated to the number of children. This may help explain the worldwide fertility decline in the modern era.
