The Relationship between Middle School Students’ Stress and Mental Resiliency
Abstract
Objective: To study the relationship between the middle school students’ stress and mental resiliency. Methods: Mental resiliency scale (CD - RISC) Chinese version and Self-Rating Anxiety Scale were used. 320 middle school students of middle school of Nanchang (including 110 from grade1, 100 from grade 2,110 from grade 3) were surveyed. Results: Stress and anxiety are positively related to each other on middle school students; Resilience and anxiety are negatively related. Conclusion: Resilience and stress can be used to forecast the level of anxiety. Resilience is the intermediate variable between pressure and anxiety.
