On Conflicts and Integration of American and Chinese Cultures in Joy Luck Club from Perspective of Intercultural Communication
Abstract
The paper analyzes the conflicts and integration between mothers and daughters in Joy Luck Club with the application of Hofstede’s Intercultural Communication Theory in order to explore methods to overcome cultural shocks.
