Opportunities, Challenges and Paths of Higher Education under the Background of the "One Belt and One Road" Strategy

Abstract

The "One Belt and One Road" strategy was raised by CPC Central Committee which take Comrade Xi Jinping as general secretary to take the initiative to deal with the situation of profound changes in the world. Its purpose is to realize the economic and social cooperation and win-win situation with the countries along the Belt and Road. The strategy provide new opportunities for the development of higher education in our country, but also bring us a severe challenge. Therefore, under the background of "One Belt and One Road" strategy, higher education should innovate training model, play a think-tank role, enlarge the open pattern of cultural exchange and provide intellectual support and talent guarantee for "One Belt and One Road" strategy.
