Vocal music, which plays an important role in peoples' spiritual life, makes peoples' spiritual life more and more colorful and is loved by most people. meanwhile, It is becoming more and more prominent in education. However, with the rapid development of science and technology, Internet and network multimedia has greatly influenced the traditional vocal music teaching. As is known to us, traditional vocal music teaching is lack of intuitiveness and takes class mode as the purpose of organizing teaching to cultivate students' good habit of correct singing and make students have the ability of singing. Whereas nowadays this kind of art education has become more and more unable to adapt to the changes of information age and the talents who are cultivated in the mode cannot meet the requirements of the society. The application of Internet and network multimedia in vocal music teaching has been increasingly prominent in China's vocal music teaching. Therefore, I will put forward a series of perfect measures to promote the traditional vocal music teaching mode reform, improve the efficiency of vocal music teaching so that cultivate more vocal music talents for the society by searching the Internet and network multimedia technology application in vocal music and some certain problems in the paper.
