Exploration and Discussion on the Reform of Higher Mathematics Teaching

Abstract

Higher mathematics plays an important role on students in cultivating the ability of logical reasoning, spatial imagination, innovative thinking, and solving practical problems. Designing the syllabus and content according to the professional characteristics of students, the mathematical modeling is used as a main tool to guide the students to discover the essential connection between mathematical knowledge and practical problems, and promote the ability of self learning and thinking.
