Study on the Relationship between Work Stress and Work Engagement: The Effect of Empty-nest Youth

Abstract


At the present stage, the imbalance of regional economic development has caused the flow of working people in the space, giving birth to the social group of empty-nest youth. Many scholars believe that for empty-nesters, loneliness in the workplace is the most direct emotional experience. From the perspective of workplace loneliness, this paper first analyzes the internal mechanism of how work stress affects employees' job involvement, and then discusses the moderating effect of empty-nest youth on the above mechanism.
