A Study on the Transmission of Chinese Folk Culture on Mass Media

Abstract

With the rapid development of digital technology, new media has been providing more spaces for the transmission of Chinese folk culture. Various mysterious folk cultures in remote villages or towns become acquainted with people in modern society. From the perspective of mass media, the paper first introduces the current situation of the transmission of Chinese folk culture, then it analyzes the positive role of mass media for the spread of Chinese folk culture and probes into the problems about its transmission. Finally, it puts forward the reflections to improve its transmission on media.
