Sociological Analysis of the Current Situation of Disabled Children's Families

Abstract

Taking X Town, Linqu County, Weifang City, Shandong Province as an example, this thesis investigates and analyzes the difficulties in economy, care and rehabilitation faced by disabled children’s families. This thesis uses the methods of case interview and literature research. It finds that the finance, guidance and education needs of disabled children’s families. From the perspective of formal and informal, this thesis analyses the countermeasures of social support，gives full play to all sectors of society, increases social understanding of disabled children’s families, reduces discrimination and prejudice against disabled children, and aims at helping disabled children’s families.
