Abstract


On the background of big data, the author applies constructivism learning theory and conducts research with the goal of developing secondary school students' English critical thinking skills. Teaching mode in the traditional secondary school still follows empiricism. In the era of rapid development of big data, secondary school teachers use big data to analyze a large amount of information, understand students' learning dynamics, adjust their teaching schemes according to their realities, and carry out studies based on students' characteristics.
