Research on Situational Design of Transformation and Regeneration of Historical and Cultural Blocks

Abstract

Historical and cultural blocks are living cultural heritage. As an important carrier to show human civilization, they are the main form for a city to show its characteristics and connotations. Therefore, the transformation and regeneration of historical and cultural blocks is an urgent need for urban modernization. Guided by the idea of situational design, this paper takes historical and cultural blocks as the research object, and creates a historical and cultural block with strong cultural atmosphere and situational artistic atmosphere through the integration and planning of commercial and cultural space, green space and landscape system, public service facilities and transportation system; thereby enriching the cultural attributes and emotional experience of historical and cultural blocks and improving their sense of place value and external attraction. It is of great significance to the continuation of urban context, and also provides experience and reference for the transformation and regeneration of other historical and cultural blocks.
