Integrated Pre-processing Technology for Underwater Image
Abstract
Because of various distractions for the underwater images which cannot directly be used, we utilize different image processing techniques to improve the quality. First, we transform the original image into gray ones. Second, we use geometric rectification for non-linear distractions caused by imaging system or shooting angle. Third, we use Gaussian filter to process random noise. Finally, we utilize image sharpening to enhance the contrast of blurred images
