Organizational Behavior Teaching and Undergraduates’ Ego-Identity Exploration

Abstract


In this paper, "Organizational Behavior" individual behavior, group behavior and organizational behavior teaching and students' ego-identity exploration are combined to be explored. The author selects the "Legally Blonde", "Good Will Hunting", "The 33","Stanford Prison Experiment", "The Devil Wears Prada" and "Silicon Valley Legend", a total of six classic movies as a carrier of "organizational behavior" teaching curriculum for a new teaching improvement. Through the actions of movie characters analysis, students can gain a deeper understanding of organizational behavior concepts and application of the theory, and can conduct their own egoidentity explorations, think about their own values, beliefs, demand level, career goals, selfefficacy, learn to establish their family roles, social roles, as well as seek to better friendship, love and intimacy and, ultimately, better ego-identity, which means ego-identity achievement.
