Modeling Design of Curved Surface Based on Fibonacci Sequence

Abstract


Surface Modeling has been widely used in product design, so it's necessary to research the design of curved surface. Fibonacci Sequence conform to both mathematics and nature, so modeling design based on it fuses this two things. Making helix based on Fibonacci Sequence, then change the number of terms to design some curved surface, which according with Fibonacci Sequence and different from typical screw-type, through the methods of revolve and loft. This improves the idea of design and provides references for innovative design of curved surface.
