Cascade Development Mode of “Double-qualified†Business English Teachers in Local Colleges
Abstract
The training of foreign language talents requires business English teachers have solid knowledge and skills of the language, comprehensive business knowledge and relevant professional experience in practice, while local colleges have inadequate business English teachers ,low percentage of "double-qualified" teachers with unreasonable structure , namely, less highly educated and highly titled teachers, the author puts forward "double -qualified" business English teachers’ cascade development pattern in local colleges , namely, policy guiding teachers to independently improve knowledge structure, earn vocational qualifications and become primary "double-qualified teachers"; Strengthening business practice to become backbone of teaching, and develop into an intermediate "double-qualified teachers"; with internship and field study, becoming the professional leaders, namely the senior "double-qualified teachers".
