Studies of Teaching Transport Phenomena to Chemical Engineering Postgraduates

Abstract


The course of transport phenomena is a degree course of chemical engineering and other relevant disciplines as master. It takes bridge effect from theoretical knowledge to engineering practice. Based on the education goal of engineering postgraduates focusing on training ability of professional practice, teaching content and teaching method of the course of transport phenomena was discussed in this paper. Teaching method in the cases should be adopted through the examples of engineering projects, combining with examples in everyday life tightly, and inserting knowledge of the relevant history and background of scientists timely. Practice has proven that the application of these measures can arouse the students' interest in study, and teaching effectiveness has also been improved significantly.
