This paper also examines the effects of one of the essential work factor which is work stress on job satisfaction. The respondents for this study consist of 542 table game dealers working in six enterprises in Macau. The descriptive statistics analysis, factor analysis, one-way analysis of variance, correlation analysis, and regression analysis were conducted in this study. Gender, education and working experience have no significant difference on work stress in the personal data analysis. The findings revealed that dealers with low level of work stress tend to report high level of job satisfaction. Female table game dealers have more job satisfaction than male table game dealers. Unlike previous studies, the finding also indicates that there is no significant relationship between dealers’ physiological stress and job satisfaction, which may be explained by the specific casino cultural context in Macau. Implications are discussed and recommendations are made regarding future researches in this area.
