The work presents the analysis of a historical way of teaching methods development of "Topographic anatomy and operative surgery" discipline at Peoples' Friendship University of Russia. The technique is based on the classical principles of the study of human anatomy, laid down by Professor Pirogov Nikolay Ivanovich [1,2].
