AHP and Value Engineering Application in Electrical Equipment Procurement
Abstract
By analyzing the features of electrical equipment, the functional evaluation of electrical equipment is established based on reliability, efficiency, maintainability and security. According to respective function of electrical equipment, the first-class index is subdivided and then the functional evaluation index is built. Function coefficients are calculated by AHP and the cost coefficients are calculated by the whole life-cycle theory. The optimal solution is selected based on the principles of value engineering. This paper uses transformer as an example to illustrate the feasibility of this method
