Abstract

Covering all kinds of research and operation data during oilfield exploration, the petroleum exploration information system can provide strong support for the exploration, production, business, service, management and objective decision. However, it is difficult to be used in the external network environment, where the data processing capacity is limited and the sensitive data may be downloaded by any unauthorized client. Through in-depth study of the desktop cloud and its application, we integrate several application systems, such as dedicated application system for petroleum exploration, information management systems, OA, and E-mail, into one unified cloud platform, which facilitates the user’s remote access via smart terminals and also improves the protection of core data.
